Mirror, Mirror (Take 1)…

The Queen was, without a doubt, very easy on the eye. But…

‘Mirror, mirror in my hand, who is the fairest in this land?’ she asked.
And she looked very ugly indeed when the mirror whispered, ‘Snow White’.
So Snow White died at the hands of a footman and the Queen asked again…

‘Mirror mirror in my hand, who is the fairest in this land?’
‘Cinderella,’ the mirror whispered, sealing Cinder’s fate.

‘Mirror, mirror in my hand – ‘
‘Red Riding Hood…’

‘Mirror, mirror – ’
‘Goldilocks…’

‘Mirror – ’
‘Who’s that sweet young thing Rumpelstiltskein had his eye on again?’

And so it went on, until not one pretty girl remained in the whole kingdom.

‘Mirror, mirror in my hand, who is the fairest in this land now’ the Queen hissed through gritted teeth.
‘Well I suppose…’ Said the mirror grudgingly, ‘… but let’s face it, love, you ain’t getting any younger…’
